Welcome to our church’s website. We hope it will help you find some basic answers about who we are as a church.  In all that we do, there is one value we desire to impart to all who come our way: a love for the gospel of Jesus Christ.  For through the gospel, we come to understand the love and wisdom of God, the purpose for our lives, and how we can be rightly related to God and to one another.

There are unique obstacles and opportunities that the church of Christ faces in every generation and locale.  So it is our desire to explore the implications of the gospel for our church and culture being located in the DC metro area.  Our prayer is that the members of Great Commission Community Church would grow as faithful disciples of Christ who then in turn find ways to encourage others toward the same end.
